Rare map representing the battle of Saint-Cast, engraved by Chalmandrier, printed by Jean-Baptiste Du Tertre, the letter by Le Roy le jeune. Scale of ten thousand toises.
The colored map is dated 1760, 2 years after the battle of St. Cast.

The Battle of St. Cast is a battle fought on September 11, 1758, around St. Malo, during the Seven Years' War. It saw an attempted British landing repulsed thanks to Vauban's fortifications and the pugnacity of the inhabitants of the region.
