Rosewood, satinwood and amaranth chest of drawers, with a recessed front opening to two drawers, the Sainte Anne gray marble top resting on mock-fluted canted jambs finished with cambered feet; gilded bronze ornamentation (significant wear); (accidents). Stamped by Pierre Denizot, Nicolas Petit and JME. Louis XVI period. H. 85 cm - W. 112 cm - D. 55 cm Probably the namesake of Nicolas Petit (1732-1791) master in 1761, himself born in 1730 and died in 1798, received master in 1765.
