* Skeleton clock in the form of a lyre, the dial showing the hours, minutes and date of the month, the pendulum decorated with pearls oscillating around the dial, decorated with a mask of Apollo, garland of foliage and fruit, foliage, chains and trimmings, resting on an oval Turquin blue marble base. The dial is signed by Jean Simon Bourdier in Paris, a watchmaker who received his master's diploma in 1787. Louis XVI period. H : 58 cm, W : 26 cm, D : 11 cm RC : No key. Fine chasing and gilding. Seconds clock, second hand missing. Very small scratches on the dial. Very fine model. Minor accidents and missing parts: in particular the movement suspension. A lyre clock by Bourdier, also in Turquin blue marble, of a simpler model, was sold at Koller in Zurich on July 22, 2006, lot 1195. !!!
