Louis Jules Dideron (1901-1980) Woman at the toilet Statuette in patinated terra cotta Signed "Louis Dideron Numbered "6 H. 27.8 cm Provenance: Private collection, Paris; By descent Louis Dideron trained in sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille and won a scholarship to join Jules Coutan's studio at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1924. Three years later, he stayed at the Villa Abd-el-Tif. He took on numerous commissions for monuments and decors in France and abroad.
