Maria Lerch (1884-1962) Girl with a ball Bronze with dark brown patina Signed "M. Lerch Inscribed in a cartouche on the front of the base: "Le Personnel du Cercle de Biberach / à son DELEGUE Mr. Gilbert WEIL / Biberach, le 6.3.1948". H. 59 cm of which base in griotte red marble H. 6.5 cm Oxidized cartouche Swabian-born sculptor Maria Lerch settled in Bamberg, where she taught drawing. A retrospective exhibition dedicated to her will be held in Herzongenaurach in April 2009.
