Travel flintlock pistol converted to percussion. Round barrel with thunderbolts. Lock signed "BAUDO... A FONTENAY" and flat-bodied hammer. Silver fittings finely engraved with foliage and friezes. Cap with ears, engraved with a profile of a Roman emperor. Walnut stock decorated with silver wire inlays. Later iron ramrod with brass tip. A.B.E. circa 1780.
