Pair of officer's double flintlock percussion pistols. Round barrels with thunderbolts, engraved with flowers on the band. Lock plates signed "Lejay Duclos" and flat-bodied hammers. Chased and engraved iron fittings. Wooden ramrods with iron tips. Walnut stocks (cracked shafts). With silver thumb pieces, blank. A.B.E. circa 1780. Presented in a later box with accessories: bullet mould, screwdriver, oiler, primer dispenser. Lejay Duclos, active in Saint Etienne circa 1790.
