Beautiful double flintlock pistol, officer's or hunting pistol. Round barrels with flat thunderbolts. Lock plates signed "DEVILLERS A LIEGE" and flat-bodied swan-neck hammers. Chased iron fittings. Fluted trigger guard and cap. Later wooden ramrod. Length : 37 cm. A.B.E. circa 1780. Set in antique but later box with disparate accessories: mallet, powder and lead ladle, screwdriver, bullet mold, chopsticks. Devillers, dynasty of Liège harquebusiers of the 18th and 19th centuries.
