Officer's percussion pistol by Guillaume BERLEUR. Fluted barrel, slightly blunderbussed at the muzzle, with hair stripes, damascus ribbon. Sight with leafed rise. Lock signed "G.BERLEUR" and engraved flat-body hammer. Safety on rear of hammer. Finger rest and cap in cut and chased iron with foliage. Counter lock decorated with reclining lions. Horn-tipped ramrod. Checkered walnut stock embellished with silver studs. Length: 36 cm. B.E. Circa 1830 Presented in a later box in the Lepage style with spring remover, primer dispenser, oiler, powder flask, mallet, bullet mold, screwdriver. Guillaume BERLEUR, harquebusier in Liège (1780-1840). Believed to have worked with the famous Boutet.
