Officer's Model 1833 percussion pistol, 2nd type. - Lot 53
Officer's Model 1833 percussion pistol, 2nd type. Fluted barrel, damascus ribbon, hallmarked. Sighted breech. Rear lock engraved "Mre Impale de Châtellerault" and round-bodied hammer. Iron trigger guard with finger rest and unscrewing cap (contains a pod). Partially checkered walnut stock. Iron ramrod with brass tip. B.E. Presented in an antique case monogrammed "JC" under the lid, with hook closure and modern sheathing, with accessories, bullet mold, mallet, pod, primer boxes and screwdriver.
