Large "Invention DELVIGNE" percussion pistol, type 1833. - Lot 55
Large "Invention DELVIGNE" percussion pistol, type 1833. Round, thunderbolt barrel, damascus ribbon, stamped "MA" and "INVENTION DELVIGNE". Delvigne rear lock and flat-body hammer. Mounted in fine marbled walnut. Iron fittings, finger rest trigger guard, unscrewable cap. Strong iron ramrod mounted on stirrup. Length 35 cm. Caliber 18 mm. A.B.E. (Minor oxidation on the barrel). Presented in a later box with disparate accessories: bullet mold rod, horn powder flask, mallet, screwdriver.
