Mariette system single-shot pistol. - Lot 78
Mariette system single-shot pistol. Damascus barrel. Case and hammer engraved with foliate scrolls. Trigger with sensitivity adjustment screw, atypical system with two triggers, one of which is fixed. Trigger tail stamped "MARIETTE BREVETE". Iron fittings. Walnut stock. With screw-in barrel in the first barrel ending in the firing stack. B.E. Circa 1840. Presented in a later case with powder flask, bullet mold and ramrod.
