Necessary case containing a pair of officer's percussion pis - Lot 88
Necessary case containing a pair of officer's percussion pistols. In walnut with brass reinforcements, with two compartments and shaped slots. The lid adorned with a brass medallion engraved with "RL" in Gothic letters. Rifled barrels. Rear plates decorated with banderoles, flat-bodied hammers, finger rests, counter plates and iron caps finely engraved with foliage. Selected walnut crossbars, partly squared, with short shafts carved with a shell. Silver thumb piece (one missing). And accessories: Mallet, cleaning rod (tip missing), barrel, ball mold oiler (not to model). Missing screwdriver pin. With key. A.B.E. Circa 1840-1850
