Percussion box pistol set. In walnut, sheathed in purple velvet, it contains : -A pair of percussion cap pistols, Rifled, damascus barrel, signed on top "J FLACHAT F.A. A St ETIENNE". Engraved barrels with retracting triggers. Carved ebony stocks. With accessories, powder flask, bullet mold, chimney cleaner, capsule box. B.E. Circa 1850 FLACHAT: Dynasty of harquebusiers from Saint-Etienne. Probably Joseph FLACHAT.
