Nice pair of officer's two-shot high caliber percussion pistols. Table-top barrels, damascus-style decoration. Rear plates signed "MURAT L" "A ST ETIENNE" and round-bodied hammers. Plain iron grips and caps. Strong iron ramrods with brass tips. Marbled walnut stocks. A.B.E. (Un chien n'accroche pas). Circa 1850 19 mm caliber Length: 32 cm. Subsequently presented in box with powder flask, screwdriver bullet mold, lead ladle, mallet. A.B.E. Louis MURAT, active in Saint Etienne. Worked as a reviser at the Manufacture.
