Strong Lefaucheux single-shot percussion pistol, approx. 16 mm caliber, with metal cartridge.
Damascus ribbon barrel (worn), with hairline and rifling. Rocker engraved "INVENTION LEFAUCHEUX PARIS". Sighted breech, rear lock and flat-body hammer engraved with scrolls. Decorated iron fittings. Checkered walnut stock (small chip).
A.B.E. circa 1850.
Length : 34 cm.
Presented in a later walnut veneered case, with ramrods, oiler, powder flask, screwdriver, chimney cleaner and brass cartridge that fits into the barrel, with a light in the chimney.
