Pair of dueling percussion pistols. - Lot 111
Pair of dueling percussion pistols. Patinated, hair-rifled, thunder-engraved barrels. Engraved round-bodied rear plates and hammers. Finger rests and caps engraved with foliage. Silver thumb pieces. Partially checkered walnut stocks stamped with "1" and "2" at the rear of the breech tail. A.B.E. Circa 1850. Made in Liège. Length: 40 cm. JJH hallmarks under the barrels, possibly Jean Jacques HERMAN. Presented in a later box with accessories: spring remover, bullet mold, mallet, lead ladle, screwdriver, chimney remover, chopsticks.
