Rare "Frankenau" system pinfire revolver purse, five-shot, 5 mm pinfire caliber, double action. Nickel-plated brass frame (worn), stamped "Frankenau's Patent" on top, with black leather-covered sides. On the right-hand side, it opens onto a leather coin compartment (worn). On the left side, it conceals a pinfire revolver in a compartment. Round 17 mm barrel. Round cylinder. Open frame. Dog without crest. Loading door pivots on left side. Folding trigger. 10.5 x 6.5 x Ht 3 cm A.B.E. Circa 1880 (Wear from use).
