Pair of single-shot 44 caliber "assault" pistols. Rifled barrels with fittings. Right-hand opening pedals. Finger rests with screws at the front to secure the shells. Partially checkered walnut stocks. Presented in a large mismatched case marked on the lid cartouche "Miscellaneous instruments n°6, with shells, cleaning rods. A.B.E. (External and internal pitting, wear to wood, rebronzés). Circa 1880.
