Rare Marius Berger repeating pistol, 7 mm caliber. Round, rifled barrel, stamped St Etienne, with tubular magazine on underside. Ring trigger. Marbled walnut stock plates. Bronze finish (minor wear and oxidation). A.B.E. Circa 1880 In a later shaped case. Marius BERGER was a manufacturer of repeating pistols and rifles in Saint-Étienne, circa 1880. He was the son and successor of François BERGER. He exhibited in Paris in 1878 and received a medal of honor.
