BAR" pistol, model 1897, double-action, centerfire, 4-shot, 7 mm caliber. Two superimposed fixed barrels, engraved "BAR PISTOL" on top. Flat barrel, hand-turned. Marked on one side "DEUTSCHLAND 98382 PATENT BELGIEN 134215" and on the other side "ENGLAND 11998 RUSSLAND NORD AMERICA". Nickel-plated finish. Carcass stamped "U" under crown. Folding trigger. Ebonized stock plates. Ejector rod embedded in stock. B.E. In a posterior box sheathed in red felt.
